Your province's tax
Tax is worked out from the province or territory you operate in. Yards in more than one province are supported, each at its own rate.

A rental agreement written for your province is built in, for 12 provinces and territories. A yard in Quebec brings its own.

Your carrier's call forwarding
On Growth, a call you miss is forwarded to Haulbase, which texts the caller your booking page. The steps are there for Bell, Rogers, Fido, Telus, Koodo, Virgin Plus and Freedom Mobile.

Going smaller never deletes your yards, products or bookings. Card processing is Stripe’s, billed to your own Stripe account at your own rate. Prices in CAD, plus applicable sales tax. Renter checkouts add the sales tax of the province the yard rents from, automatically.

Talk to JoshDo I need my own website?
No. Every account gets its own web address, yourname.haulbase.ca, with your logo, colours and equipment, and it goes live when you publish. Google can find it, and it looks right when you share the link.
I already have a website. Does Haulbase work with it?
Yes. Link your booking page from any site: a button on each machine is the usual way. Hank, Haulbase's chat assistant, on the Growth plan, sits on your own site and answers visitors there from your real fleet and rates, so somebody asking about a dump trailer at ten at night gets a straight answer instead of a form. We give you the button and walk you through it.
How do payments work?
You connect your own Stripe account before your page goes live. Stripe asks for your business details and the bank account your money goes to. Customers pay by card and the money goes straight to your bank. Haulbase never holds it. Cash and paying at pickup still work too.
Are the signed agreements real contracts?
Customers fill in their details and type their full legal name as the signature before a booking is accepted. The signed copy is kept on file and emailed to you. Like any contract template, have a lawyer review your terms.
What does it cost?
Nothing to start. Every account begins free, with no card. The Free plan is 10% of each online booking, with one yard, one user and no monthly fee. Monthly plans drop the fee instead of removing it: Growth is $147 and 2.5% for up to 10 users, Unlimited is $497 and 1% for as many yards and people as you need. Equipment, bookings and customers are unlimited on every plan. Growth adds everything that talks to a customer, and Unlimited adds everything that plugs into another system. Once you're booking about $2,000 a month online, Growth costs you less than Free. Switch any time.
